Does anyone know whether there is a way to get audio description for The Walking Dead or have the show already audio-described?
It's not on Blind Mice Mart, nor is it on SamNet.
I could use the SoloDX audio description, but they only have about half of season 1.
If anyone knows of another way to get description for it, or an audio-described version, it would be greatly apreciated.
I don't think it has been described as of yet. AMC is not on the channels with audio description at this time according to what I can find.
I see.
Oh well, Guess I'l have a friend describe it. That's kind of unlikely though since after watching the Pilot, I wasn't as intrigued as I felt I should be.
Thanks for the info on AMC.
The only description I know of for it is the one by SoloDX. I've heard they're planning on doing more of it, but obviously that's going to take them awhile, and I can understand you not wanting to wait for it. Hope you can get your friend to describe it.
SisterDawn,
Thanks.
I hope he can describe, but that's pretty unlikely since both of us are pretty busy. What I don't understand is why there's so little character interaction (at least in the pilot for the first season), and so muc zombie-blasting. I just wasn't hooked. Unlike We're Alive (a zombie audio-drama), which hooks you from the start which rich characters, a gripping storyline, and a little zombie-blasting, The Walking Dead seems to shove it's zombie-bashing forward, as compared to the drama between characters.
It's also so visually unapealing with all its gore, that when my friend and I were watching, he didn't feel to great after seeing so much of it.
Don't mean to rant, Maybe it's the kind of show which slowly develops and that you need to watch a lot of to get into.
